As part of ‘Centenary’, a performance in the 1916 Rising commemorations, the Irish Proclamation was read across the world this weekend.
The weekend saw thousands attend numerous memorials and cultural activities, from talks and walks to music and dance. Here the Irish diaspora were called on to play their part.
RTÉ wrapped up their coverage of events with arts show Centenary in the Bord Gais Theatre, including performances from Imelda May, Gavin James, and Jack L.
This included a reading of the Proclamation of the Irish Republic read by Irish in the States, China, Australia, India, Canada, and more.
