Acclaimed international travel advisors The Lonely Planet has revealed its top 21 Irish destinations in its latest guide for the country, with the Rock of Cashel, links golf and a good ol’ GAA match making the cut, writes Fiona O’Brien.

The website, which is renowned for selecting the best finds in popular tourist destinations, as well as those more off the beaten track, have released their 16th Ireland edition.

It is available on their website for £16.99, or £11.89 in eBook edition. Individual chapters can be purchased for £2.99 apiece, or a combined eBook and print book bundle for £22.09.
