Take the Ferry to Ireland from your Local Railway Station

For those who don’t drive, or won’t fly, Irish Ferries has a cheap and easy way to travel to Ireland: catch a train from your local railway station!

The ferry company’s RailSail tickets can be booked to start from any one of 2,400 UK railway stations.

Fully-inclusive rail-and-ferry tickets start at just £33 one-way for a journey all the way to Dublin port.

Online booking is easy; travellers are presented with train times that co-ordinate with four Irish Ferries sailings from Holyhead every day.

“You can step on a train at Birmingham New Street and go right through to Dublin for just £40,” says head of passenger sales Dermot Merrigan.

“And prices are set: they don’t go up and down depending on the season, or when you book, which makes it easy to plan both your trip and your budget.”
