St Gabriel’s back on track after epic clash with Treacy’s

St Gabriel’s 1-22
Sean Tracey’s 3-13

St Gabriel’s and Sean Tracey served up a dramatic fifth round county championship tie that was so exciting and enthralling it could well have been the final.

St Gabriel’s, the defending champions, have not enjoyed the best of season so far, but Saturday’s contest at Ruislip, proved why they are consistently one of the best teams in the county.

Sean Tracey proved, too, that, the can compete with the best and, judging by Saturday’s performance, they could well be dark horses for this year’s title.

From the very beginning, it was a tit for tat game with neither side allowing the other to get more a point ahead.
