Kerry avenge All- Ireland defeat
By David Hennessy
Dublin manager Pat Gilroy criticised his side for not working hard enough against Kerry in the 1-14 to 0-11 point defeat at Croke Park.
The Dubs struggled throughout the second-half, allowing the Kingdom to pull away, with Darran O'Sullivan's goal the highlight.
Gilroy told RTÉ's Pauric Lodge: "We are very disappointed we didn't perform at all in the second-half.
"We weren't at the races and giving the ball far away too much. Our work-rate wasn't what it should have been. We know we have plenty to do and that is for certain."
Gilroy believes Dublin did not retain the ball as they should have and it allowed Kerry to dominate proceedings.
"When you are giving the ball away as much as we were, then you could say we were getting tired. I think that was a big factor, we weren't retaining the ball or winning it around the middle."
