Irish World award winner Shawn Cuddy is travelling to north west London next week to launch his new single.
He will be performing at St Mary and St Andrew’s Church social club on Friday 6 October, as he releases a cover of the Beach Boys classic Then I Kissed Her.
The County Laois singer has been on the road with his band for 27 years, having first put them together in 1990 after playing on his own since he was 18.
At the start of this year he told the Irish World that he wouldn’t change anything of his career so far.
“I’ve generally enjoyed the whole experience of playing. I’ve made a good living out of it and enjoyed working with the people I collaborated with and met along the way,” he said.
“I’ve had a great time on the whole. Of course everyone has highs and lows like in any job, but I wouldn’t change a thing… well maybe a bit of luck I could have had some success with records that other acts have had!”
Tickets cost £10 in advance or £12 on the door. Call Tina on 01992 478380 for more information.
