Neil Douglas, travelling to Galway from Stansted this week on a Ryanair flight was stunned to find his identical ‘twin’ in his seat!
Neil Douglas was shocked to discover his doppelganger Robert Stirling, from London, on the flight from Stansted to Galway on Thursday evening.
The 32-year-old wedding photographer, from Glasgow, took a selfie capturing the similar looks between he and his new ‘twin’ Robert Stirling, 35. Stirling was travelling to Ireland for a ‘quiet trip’ away. The selfie soon went viral!
Twitter was alight within minutes!
Stirling said: “Neil suddenly appeared next to me and all my mates started shouting, saying that we had to take a picture. We chatted on the flight for just over an hour, he was a very nice guy.
“It turned out that we were staying at the same hotel, and we saw him in a few pubs that night. We ended up socialising and quite a few people pointed out that we looked very similar.”
Since these pics emerged, a third man with a ginger beard and striking similarities to the Ryanair duo has emerged! Nathan McKeown, from Scotland, uploaded a picture of himself to Twitter following Mr Douglas’ viral post.
Users immediately commented on the similarities between the IT worker and the duo, with many claiming he was ‘number 3’.
Lee Beattie wrote: ‘Oh my god, there’s another one.’
But Mr McKeown appears to have disputed the claims, writing to one user: ‘You’re the 3rd person to say this! I don’t see it!’
