North London side favourites for promotion

North London Shamrocks enter the county intermediate decider as clear favourites having won all of the round robin and knock-out stage matches this season.
The club is celebrating its tenth anniversary and has already won the Murphy Cup, its first-ever piece of silverware.
St Brendan’s are trying to get back into the senior championship after being relegated last year following a play-off with Round Towers. They won the county intermediate title in 2012 one year after being relegated.
On Sunday, they will field an almost identical team to the one that overturned Harlesden Harps in the semi-final two week ago and while it is a strong panel, The Isleworth-based club is still missing some key players.
St Brendan’s club chairman Paddy Coscadden said: “Many of our lads are teachers and they are still away on summer holiday. Some of them are due back on Saturday but it is not ideal preparation for a county final. North London will start as clear favourites and it is up to us to do the best job we can on the day. Favourites don’t always win. “
The Intermediate final is set for 13:45 on Sunday at Ruilsip.
