Surrey Police is continuing to appeal for information to trace a missing man with medical issues who went missing from hospital last Friday.
James Phelan, 42, who has a slight Irish accent, was last seen in the Accident and Emergency department at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey at 7pm on Friday last.
He has medical issues and officers remain extremely concerned for his welfare. He has connections to London and officers believe he may have travelled to the city over the weekend.
He is described as white, 6ft 1 tall, of a slim build with dark brown hair which is receding at the front and collar-length at the back. He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, blue shorts and white trainers.
Police have released CCTV images of Mr Phelan arriving and leaving St Peter’s Hospital and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or spoken to a man matching his description in or around the hospital grounds on Friday evening.
Anyone who has seen Mr Phelan, or has any other information which could assist the enquiry, is asked to call Surrey Police as a matter of urgency on 101, quoting incident reference P14230573.
