Police appeal for man connected with Harlesden rape allegation

Police have released photographs of a man in connection with a rape allegation they are investigating which took place in Harlesden in January.

Officers from the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are heading the investigation over the incident that occurred near Church Road in the early hours of January 15.

The 38-year-old woman went to an address near Church Road with the suspect and was raped at the address. The victim reported the rape at a police station later that day.

The suspect has been described as of Arabic appearance with shaved eyebrows and a short beard. He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and was wearing brown khaki trousers, grey/red shirt, black and white striped scarf, brown leather shoes. He spoke with a soft voice and had a broken front tooth and brown teeth.

Detective Constable Stuart Coutin said: “I would like to speak to the man in the photograph in connection with this matter. If anyone knows who this man is or if they have any information regarding this incident they are asked to call me directly.”
