Police appeal for burglary of elderly woman

Harrow officers are appealing for information following a burglary at an elderly woman’s home at Cherchefelle Mews, Green Lane, HA7.
On Tuesday, November 25, and elderly woman went to bed at about 10pm and stayed in her bedroom until 7am the next morning.
During the night she was awoken by a noise and thought that it may have been her carer arriving early. She went back to sleep.
When she got up the and went into her living room, she found the remains of an untidy search and the rear doors left open. Various items of jewellery are believed to be taken.
Detective Sergeant Ted Cornwell said: “We are appealing for any information concerning the burglary of this elderly lady’s address. Please call 101 quoting 2014373/14 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
