Police appeal after teenage boy stabbed in Greenford park

Police are appealing for witnesses to a stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in a park in Greenford on Saturday afternoon.
The victim was sitting on the bench in the Oldfield Recreation Ground at about 4pm with his friend when he was approached by a group of around seven youths and attacked. The victim was punched and kicked and stabbed in the leg.
The suspects ran out of the park via the exit on Greenford Road. The victim was taken to a central London hospital. His injuries were not life threatening and he has since been discharged. No arrests have been made.
