Police appeal after indecent exposure in Camden

Police are warning women to stay alert after reports of a man exposing himself in the Haverstock Hill area.

Police in Camden are also asking for women to come forward if they have been victims of the indecent exposure after being called to reports of a man exposing himself to passers by  on Steele’s Road NW3 last Wednesday after 5pm.

The suspect was seen sitting in a doorway and as a number of women walked passed he stand up and pull his trousers down exposing himself

Police attended the scene and arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of indecent exposure. He has been detained for treatment under the mental health act and will be returning on bail in January 2015. Enquiries continue.

PC Lisa Baker from Camden said: “I am appealing for witnesses and information in relation to these indecent exposures that have taken place in the area.”
