RUMOURS abound that Irish World award winner Nathan Carter could be supporting Garth Brooks for his Croke Park dates this July.
The singer, 23 – the first country act to get to No1 in the Irish album charts since Brooks – told the Irish Mirror that he’d heard the rumours, and it would be a “dream come true”.
What’s more, the singer and his band have left that week in July free on their busy touring schedule, in case they do get the call.
The Enniskillen-based singer, originally from Liverpool, added: “The current boom in country music is brilliant for us all. Garth is spearheading this revival. We’ve never been busier. We’re playing four to five nights a week.”
