Former London inter-county player Adrian Moyles was on fire on Friday to turn around St Kiernan’s season.

Two weeks ago, last year’s senior country championship semi-finalists were ripped asunder by an unlikely Parnell’s outfit.

They faced Round Towers on Sunday, with both sides really, needing a win to keep their championship aspirations alive.

St Kiernan ‘s stepped up to the plate. First Michael Collins and then a brace by Michael O’Donoghue edged the men in black and white in to the lead. The Moyles started to work and scored four unanswered points.

All the while, the south London side, Round Towers , could only manage one point, Brendan Towey, proving to be accurate, in the first half.
