London’s Longford community says farewell to Brian

Bernard ‘Brian’ McKenna, who chaired London’s Longford Association for 15 years and who died last week, March 5, after a long illness.

Londoner Mr. McKenna, originally from Killmacora, Killoe, County Longford (pictured above with his wife Mary at last month’s 60th Longford Association dinner in Cricklewood) will be removed from St. Francis’s Roman Catholic Church, Stratford, London E15 next Sunday 15 March at 4.00 pm.

He will repose at St. Fachnan’s Church, Kilfenora, County Clare from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm Wednesday 18 March before the funeral mass at 11.00 am Thursday 19 March and burial in the local cemetery.
