London GAA open day

GAA London

By Damian Dolan

Bringing a touch of elegance to proceedings, London Rose Grace Kenny stole the show at the London County Board’s Media Evening at Ruislip on Friday evening. Kenny was on hand to help launch the Official London GAA Supporters Club and assist with the championship and cup draws made on the night.

Earlier, some lucky young GAA stars of the future got the chance to rub shoulders with the London football team and even show off their skills to the players. A full training session by the team, as they prepare for their Connacht Championship quarter-final with Sligo at Ruislip on May26, was then followed by the chance for photos with the players.

Also in attendance were John Walsh, PJ Rowe and Kevin Walsh from the London hurling team, as they build up to their Leinster Senior Hurling Championship meeting with Carlow on May 19 at Dr Cullen Park.
