LISA McHugh wants your vote

Lisa McHugh

FAST RISING Country and Irish singing star LISA McHugh – who will be celebrating St. Patrick with several performances in the UK – is appealing to fans in Britain and Ireland to support her protégé on TG4’s Glor Tire talent show.

Irish World Award winner LISA, and her band, will perform a one hour show on the latest Glor Tire series at 10.30pm on Wednesday March 6 (with a repeat the following Saturday March 9).

Lisa first gained recognition in the 2009 series of  Glor Tire 2009 as a contestant finalist before going on to greater things with her band.

Now she is mentor to Grainne Gavigan who hopes to follow Lisa into show business.

Grainne is one of nine contestants on the fifteen-week long talent contest which began last month.

She hails from Ardara Co. Donegal and is currently a first year student studying Health and Social Care at Letterkenny IT.

If you have seen Grainne perform and would like to vote for her and you are in Britain or Northern Ireland call 0901 6566 108 or text GLOR 8 to 81108.

Meanwhile, you can catch Lisa live in concert  in the UK at the following venues:

 Saturday March 16 (11.00pm) at St Kentigern’s Club, Manchester (Tel 0161 224 2033) Doors open 8.00 pm

LISA has just returned from a successful week long All Star Irish Caribbean Cruise performing with Daniel O’Donnell and many major Irish artists for 2,000 passengers between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the Caicos Islands, the Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.

Her latest album Dreams Come to Life including her hit single Why’d Ya Come In Here has had more than 100.000 hits on YouTube

LISA’s duet with Daniel O’Donnell I’ll Be Home With Bells On is one of the most requested tracks on Ireland’s local and national radio stations – presumably from many of her 10,000 Facebook friends.
