St Gabriels captain Aidan Ryan believes the London champions have what it takes to emulate Robert Emmetts’ feat of 2007, and go on and be crowned All Ireland champions at Croke Park next year.

The St Gabriels keeper, who helped London to Nicky Rackard Cup success in 2011, is confident that despite the club’s less than ideal preparations for Sunday’s quarter-final with Fermanagh and Ulster champions Lisbellaw St Patrick’s at Ruislip on Sunday, they have the quality to go all the way.

Ryan was not involved in the Exiles’ Christy Ring Cup success over Wicklow at Croker earlier this summer, but St Gabriels did provide five of the starting line up, in addition to another two on the bench, and the former Galway number one believes the club can carry that momentum within the county into the All Ireland.
