Fullen Gaels third British team to make All-Ireland semi-final

Fullen Gaels of Manchester joined Kilburn Gaels and John Mitchel’s in the semi-finals of the All-Ireland club championships when they defeated Munster champions Modeligo of Waterford by 2-6 to 0-10 at Pairc na hEireann on Saturday. Fullen Gaels take on Castleblayney on Sunday January 25.

Goals in either half made sure of victory for Stan Murray-Hession’s team but Fullen Gaels had to withstand a late onslaught that included two 20 yard frees for Modeligo in the dying moments and had the nerve to see it out.
