Fulham Irish 3-16
Heston Gaels 0-04

Heston Gaels received a brutal lesson on the standard expected at senior level from Fulham Irish at Ruilsip on Sunday morning.
The West Londoners were the deserving winners of the Intermediate county title last season but the newly promoted side will have their work cut out if they are to have any hope of staying in the premier division next season.
Fulham Irish, the 2011 County Champions, ripped the newcomers apart once they settled into their stride.
Heston did take the early lead courtesy of two unanswered points by London county star Padraig McGoldrick. In fact McGoldrick scored all of his side’s scores, his four points all coming in the first half. Yes, you read that right, the men in red failed to register a single score in the second 20 minutes.
In the same period, Fulham, lead by two other county stars, Lorcan Mulvey and Seamus Hannon, registered a disturbing 2-11 to add to the 1-06 the scored in the opening half.
