THE 14th annual comedy charity fundraiser organised by the Aisling Project's patron Ardal O'Hanlon and Noel Faulkner, of the Comedy Café in Shoreditch, will take place at Bloomsbury Theatre on Sunday 12th February.
Comedian and actor Ardal O’Hanlon will be the host for the evening, with the comedy line-up consisting of Ed Byrne, Andrew Maxwell and Ian Stone to provide a great night's entertainment.
The Aisling Return to Ireland Project is aLondonbased charity working with Irish emigrants who are vulnerable, homeless and alone.
In addition to its outreach service in the capital, it works towards helping vulnerable emigrants reconnect with their friends, families and homeland through its supported rehabilitative trips toIreland.
O'Hanlon said, "I have been Aisling’s patron for a number of years and fully support the great work they do with vulnerable Irish exiles, the forgotten Irish in fact.
“We have a befriending scheme and are always recruiting volunteers to help with the work of linking up with Irish men and women inLondon, reducing their isolation and increasing social contact with the wider community. It would be great if people could come along and have a great night and maybe think about helping out with the project too."
Parental guidance is recommended due to the possibility of strong language during the show. Tickets cost £20, visit www.thebloomsbury.com/event/run/1668 or call 020 7388 8822 to book.
