Ealing police’s ‘999 community fun day’

999 fun day 1

Ealing Police are holding a community fun day for local residents on Thursday August 21 at Trailfinders Sports Club.

Billed as a ‘999 Community Fun Day’ the police are joining forces with other emergency services as the London Fire Brigade and London Air Ambulance will also be in attendance.

There is a BBQ and bar, a bouncy castle, classic police cars, a helicopter and an inflatable football pitch by Brentford FC.

The Safer Transport Team will be on hand to mark bicycles so don’t forget to bring your bike, and kids will be able to meet the Metropolitan Police dog unit and horses.

There will also be a crime prevention squad to give advice to local people to safeguard their homes and possessions, and a recruitment stand for anyone wishing to sign up for the police.

Entry is free on the day, and the event runs from 10am – 4pm at Trailfinders Sports Club, Vallis Way, West Ealing, W13 0DD.
