Police are appealing for information following a suspected theft in Acton where they found a number of empty designer bags and Rolex watch boxes on the floor on Saturday 12 July.

At 5.30am Ealing officers entered 70 Napier House, Bromyard Avenue to find the packages and receipts littering the floor following what appears to be an untidy search.

No one was in the flat at the time and police are keen to identify not only the residents of the flat, but anyone seen entering or leaving the flat in the early hours of that Saturday morning.

Police Constable Shakila Khan, Ealing CID, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything in or near the flat to come forward. We would like to get in contact with the occupants to make sure they are not in any harm and to help return their property.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Ealing CID on 101 quoting reference 2516981/14. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org
