Actress Drew Barrymore feeds her floral obsession with clothing from Dries Van Noten and Giambattista Valli
The Charlie’s Angels star is known for her Bohemian style and is regularly seen out and about in flowing, floral attire, and when it comes to picking up items to suit her taste, Drew knows exactly which designers to go to.
“I always love Dries Van Noten on the runway,” she told the American edition of Harper’s Bazaar. “He makes beautiful floral prints that I can’t get enough of. Another incredible runway show this season was Giambattista Valli – for the same reason.”
When she isn’t in a soft, feminine, floaty number, Drew loves to rock a pair of jeans and a vintage T-shirt and again, she knows which brands suit her best.
“For denim, I love Citizens of Humanity,” she added. “Rag & Bone is one of my go-to’s for jeans – and everything else.”
The 40-year-old also cited Club Monaco, Sea and Isabel Marant as some of her favourite labels, and previously admitted to Britain’s Metro newspaper she had once managed to buy a jacket by the French fashion house for an absolute bargain.
“I’m so proud I actually have an Isabel Marant jacket that I know is thousands of dollars but I paid $200 for this jacket in a weird thrift store in the French countryside,” she said. “I was like: ‘Do you know what this is? Either way, I’ll buy it.'”
As for footwear, Drew believes J.Crew is a must for any shoe addict because the company’s prices are fair.
“J. Crew makes the best heels,” she said. “I always choose suede. Not too high. Flattering. Priced well.”
When it comes to beauty, Drew is an advocate for some of her own Flower products, regularly using the brand’s Radiant fragrance.
Other “musts” include Olay Regenerist and Aquaphor ointment.
