Diamonds in the rough waiting to be unearth

The London County Board’s U-turn over its regulation requiring all players who played club championship in the county last year to still play club championship in 2014 in order to be eligible to tog out for London may not have wholesale implications for Paul Coggins’s panel, but there will still be plenty of new talent on display next weekend to interest the London boss.

Seeding Round 1 in January unearthed the likes of Tyrone All Star Cathal McCarron, Mayo’s Michael Walsh and Down’s Marcus Miskelly and next weekend’s Round 2 matches are sure to have Coggins and his management team of Kevin Downes and Tony Murphy casting their eye over some of the new arrivals in town.

Below are just a few that might catch the eye of Messers Coggins, Downes and Murphy, if they’re looking to bolster their panel ahead of Galway’s visit to Ruislip on May 25 in the Connacht Senior Football Championship, provided, of course, that they tog out.
