The Irish World has been sad to hear of the recent passing of Padraic Hanley and Nick Sinnott, as well as Sylvie Donoghue who passed away last week.

Padriac Hanley was the former head of Hanley Civil Engineering Group and chairman of St Jarlath’s football club in London.

Nick Sinnott from Wexford was a well known sports and business man from London particularly in the golfing world. He went back to live in Ireland and died recently. He was a staunch GAA supporter and big in the golfing societies.

Sylvie Donoghue from Galway was a former chairman of the Gloucestershire county board.

The Irish World will run tributes to all three in our next edition. Anyone who would like to contribute should contact us on 02084537800 on Monday December 29 or email iwsports@theirishworld.com.
