All three British clubs playing in club championship semi-finals at the weekend were victorious and will play at Croke Park next month.
London champions Kilburn Gaels have made it to the final of the Intermediate All-Ireland hurling club championship with a 0-11 to 0-10 victory over Cappataggle of Galway at the Limerick Gaelic Grounds on Sunday. They will now face O’Donovan Rossa of Belfast in the final on Sunday February 15 at Croke Park.
Fullen Gaels of Manchester will also be there, after beating Castleblayney by a score of 2-18 to 1-07 in their semi-final in Coolock, Dublin. They will take on Bennettsbridge of Kilkenny in their February 15 junior final, also at Croke Park.
John Mitchel’s of Liverpool complete a great week for British GAA, beating Moate All Whites 1-9 to 1-6 to progress to the junior football final. They will either Brosna or Rock St Patrick’s in the February 14 final.
