Roger Casements are hosting the UK’s first ever GAA boxing fundraiser, in which they will take on their local rivals Four Masters at Society Nightclub next month.

On March 27 the white collar boxing match will be attended by both clubs ‘to raise some much needed funds as we strive to keep Gaelic Games alive in Coventry’.

It is at Society Nightclub (the Old Pink Parrot) and will be followed by a disco. Tickets should be £15 each.

They have set up a Facebook event page and a crowd-funding page ‘Rumble in the concrete jungle’ to enable the competitors to train and to sell tickets.

“Please donate generously as these lads and lassies enter a rigorous training program to enable them to compete against each other on the night for our entertainment and the good of Gaelic Games,” it reads.
