A 14-year-old boy grabbed the opportunity to create his very own memento from the Queen’s Belfast visit with the ultimate selfie.

Jack Surgenor leaped out of the crowd at St Georges Market to take the snap which has since become a huge trend on Twitter.

He timed it perfectly as the Queen looked virtually straight down the lens, rivalling the shots captured by the professional photographers that were also present.
