Clayton Hotels will offer a people-focused service with their ‘your stay, your way’ approach.
The new owners of the Crown hotel in Cricklewood have now rebranded that and the Chiswick Moran as Clayton Hotels.
The move by Dalata Hotel Group PLC is the first step which will see further propertied in Manchester, Leeds and Wales, which were formally Bewley’s and Moran hotels, be rebranded as well.
The Clayton brand was launched in 2015 and consists of nine properties across the UK and Ireland. By the end of 2015, there will be 13 hotels in the portfolio.
The Clayton Hotel Chiswick is about to commence a £18m renovation project that will see a new three-level bedroom extension added, a dedicated meeting and conference space, refurbishment to current guest rooms and the hotel ground floor, 100 underground car parking spaces and a new residents’ gym.

In March 2014 Dalata Hotel Group PLC floated on the UK (A.I.M.) and Irish (ESM) stock exchange raising equity of €265m with debt of €282m. In a deal worth €455m, Dalata Hotel Group PLC acquired nine new UK and Ireland properties from Bewley and Moran hotels at the beginning of 2015. Dalata Hotel Group PLC also acquired an additional eight hotels in Ireland.It is Ireland’s largest hotel operator.
Dalata Hotel Group PLC was founded in July 2007 by Pat McCann, former chief executive of the Jurys Doyle Hotel Group. It operates 46 hotels across the UK and Ireland with a total of 7,480 rooms and 4,366 employees.
The new Clayton Hotels brand has been developed by the Dalata team and will offer a people-focused service with their ‘your stay, your way’ approach. Clayton Hotels’ team’s goal is to make their guests’ stay as relaxing as possible and provide them with a home from home environment. Their offering will include little touches such as the hotel’s own brand healthy breakfast range.
