Brent Police search for man after serious Neasden assault


Police in Brent are releasing an image of a man they would like to speak with in connection with a suspected knife and baseball bat assault that took place in Neasden last Thursday. 

The victim, a 35-year-old man, had been in a fast food restaurant on Neasden Lane, and upon leaving the restaurant was followed by two suspects before being assaulted with objects believed to be a baseball bat and a knife in Coombe Road. The victim ran back towards the restaurant and was assaulted by a further two men.

Police and London Ambulance Service attended and the victim was taken to a north London hospital with a suspected fractured arm and hand and two deep lacerations to the back of his head.

The suspects have been described as white Eastern European men believed to be Polish.

Detective Constable Paul Connelly, from Brent CID, said: “I would like to speak with anyone who was in the area or inside the restaurant at the time of the incident who may have witnessed this assault. If you are the man in the photo or know who he is please contact the police.”

Enquiries continue. No arrests have been made.
