Boyzone will perform at Epsom Downs Racecourse at the evening race meeting on Thursday July 31.
Originally from the North side of Dublin, Boyzone first appeared on the Late Late Show in November 1993. Ronan, Keith, Shane and Mikey soon achieved worldwide fame as one of the most popular boy-bands ever formed.
Boyzone have maintained this popularity for over two decades, with many of their singles such as When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going and No Matter What all becoming household names. With six number one UK singles in total, they are one of the most successful bands ever seen in the United Kingdom.
Twenty-one singles, seven albums, twenty-five million record sales, hundreds of gigs and four number one UK albums later, their place in history has been confirmed. This summer, they are looking forward to the release of their new single Light Up The Night.
Rupert Trevelyan, Regional Director London of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “We are thrilled to welcome the ever popular boy band Boyzone to the Epsom stage this year and they look a certainty to continue the popularity of the Epsom Live Nights.”
