I AM writing to congratulate you on the addition of the cartoonist to the Irish World. - 29/12/09

He, or she, is both witty and topical.

When I buy the newspaper, I now go directly to the Letters page to see what the topic of the week is!

Some of my friends have also commented on the cleverness of the cartoons.

Keep up the good work – I wish all your staff a happy Christmas and all the best for the new year.
