Irish actors celebrate in London

Andrea Corr was the guest of honour at the Women’s Irish Network Bloomsday

celebrations at The Pigalle Club in London last week.

The Dundalk beauty read extracts from James Joyce’s Ulysses, accompanied by actors Dermot Crowley, Hugh O’Connor and singer Mark Dugdale.

Meanwhile, the Irish Community Arts Project Northampton presented their tribute to ‘all things Joycean’ at Kingsthorpe cemetery.

The event was recorded by a reporter from Munich for a German radio documentary on Joyce and his daughter Lucia Anna who is buried at Kingsthorpe.
