The 11th Annual Gathering Festival descends upon The Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th of February for a celebration of the rich culture and diversity of traditional Irish music.
A highlight of the cultural calendar, the 2010 programme includes a superb mix of concerts, céilís, classes and lectures. A jam-packed programme of events includes concerts at The Gleneagle Hotel’s famous ballroom.

The line-up of concerts also includes performances by The Brock McGuire Band, Caladh Nua, Conor Keane, Jackie Daly and Paul De Grae.
The Gathering céilís, all held at the expansive INEC, continue to attract record numbers, and back by popular demand are the award-winning ten-piece Allow Céilí Band, following a storming performance last year. The céilí line-up also includes Gerry McCarthy, Donie Nolan, Five Counties Ceili Band and Swallow’s Tail. Set-dancing workshops for beginners, advanced and children will take place throughout the weekend.
