Oprah wants to play Corrigan hit on show

A few weeks, Irish band the Corrigan Brothers recorded "I'm Pebbles Boyle (Spare a thought for me).

 

The novelty song tells the sad story of Britain's got talent Star Susan Boyle's cat, and how she is coping since Susan became famous.

 

Corrigan Brothers already have a viral video hit with their song "There's no one as Irish as Barack Obama" clocking up more than five million youtube hits. The Brothers palyed at President Obama's inauguration.

 

 Taoiseach Brian Cowen even presented President Obama with a copy of "There's no one as Irish as Barack Obama" in a ceremony at the White House on Saint Patrick's day.

 

It looks like it is all going to happen again for Corrigan Brothers - in the last few days, the Oprah Winfrey show team have advised the brothers that they wish to use a clip of their Pebbles Boyle song n the show in the next two weeks.

 

They are also planning to interview Susan Boyle. A delighted Ger Corrigan (lead singer with the Brothers) said "This is massive, we can't believe it, this will drive the video Viral, it is fantastic news".

 

The brothers are no strangers to US TV, however. They have already appeared on the four of the five top TV shows, "The O'Reilly Factor, The CBS Sunday Show, Hardball and the Today show so the Oprah appearance will give them a USA TV grand slam. "It is a great opportunity for us and it will really. Drive our album sales in the USA when the album is released there next month" said Ger.
