Holloway Gaels hosted the Ann Dunning tournament at Greenford on Saturday March 21.
Eight clubs took part on the day with St Mary’s of Twickenham emerging victorious in their final with Father Murphy’s.
Ann Dunning, a founding member of Holloway Gaels, tragically lost her life to a rare form of pregnancy related cancer in 2006.
Bridget Browne, a friend of Ann Dunning’s, said: “It’s testament to Ann that players who never knew her are still turning up here on a Saturday in March when it’s very cold and you would rather be in the pub watching the rugby. Thanks to everyone. Ann’s family is hugely appreciative that this tournament is still continuing in Ann’s memory. They would like to thank the club and all the clubs for taking part.”
