Santa Line prepares for a busy festive period
Santa Line is expecting to carry over one-hundred and thirty-five thousand (135,000) passengers across the Irish Sea this festive period in the annual rush for people to meet up with family and friends at this special time of year.
Diane Poole OBE, Head of PR and Communications, Stena Line, said: “Christmas and the New Year are fast approaching and our sailings are pretty much full up with folks packing a bumper Christmas into their cars, sailing as a foot passenger or letting the train share the strain with our rail and sail packages.
“Ferry travel is stress free and exciting where the journey is definitely part of the adventure, especially at this time of year when everyone is looking forward to relaxing and spending quality time with family and friends.
“There’s even an opportunity to get in some very last minute Christmas shopping with up to 50%* off selected items when compared to the high street. If that sounds too stressful then just sit back and relax with free onboard Wi-Fi”.
Diane added: “We don’t charge a thing for excess baggage so you have the freedom to pack the car with everything you need for the perfect festive break without the worry of a big bill at the beginning of your journey or on the way home. Even your four legged friend travels absolutely free. Look out for Santa Line’s brand new Christmas Treasure Hunt app which kids can download to win some terrific prizes in the onboard shop.”
