Babog Baby
Bábógbaby was set up by Adrian Devine from County Galway to provide tools and toys for toddlers, children and parents to learn those first few words of Irish, English, Welsh and even Scots Gaelic.
Bábógbaby’s bears are complemented by an accompanying animated series called BB agus Bella with a series of related books scheduled.
The Irish BB bear has already established itself in Ireland with sales in excess of 30,000.
BB Bear has even featured on ITV’s Tonight with Jonathan Ross and was awarded the UK’s Practical Pre School Award 2012 in Birmingham earlier this year. The bears have the voice of a child and there are no lights or hard parts in this toy.
The bears require 3 x AA batteries which are included, and are intended for children aged from six months old upwards and are available in English, Welsh and Scots Gaelic.
