Neasden Shamrocks, fresh from their giant-killing defeat over Tir Chonaill Gaels the previous, emerged victorious in this tightly fought affair at Ruislip on Saturday.

Both sides traded scores in the opening half, Neasden edged into an early advantage, courtesy of a brace of points by Andrew McMunn Adrian Flaherty  and Damian Dunleavy.

Heston chipped away at their lead and, thanks to three scores by Conor Aherne Paul Lavelle and Padraigh McGoldrick to edge in to a one-point lead before Dunleavy levelled the contest just before the half time whistle.

Both sides up their ante in the second period.

Paul Geraghty found the back of the net early in part tow to give Neasden the lead and it looked like the were about to into a commanding lead after they registered four scores to Heston’s one.
