It’s two years today since Bruce Springsteen opened his first of two Dublin concerts at the RDS.

A few days previously, he had the power cut on stage in Hyde Park to the bemusement of London fans due to breaking curfew regulations.

Springsteen therefore, decided to start his Dublin shows where he finished off, performing The Beatles’ Twist n Shout that he had been singing with guest Paul McCartney in London.
