Cu Chulainns 4-16
St Anthony’s Reading 1-04
by Sean Moriarty
The M4 motorway cuts a dreary path from west London. It passes non-descript towns like Slough and Swindon as it heads ever-westward, first to the Severn Bridge and onwards towards Wales.
The scenery along this automotive corridor is neither inspiring nor exciting.
It is not a nice place to be in transit.
So spare a thought for the St Anthony’s team that arrived at the Emerald Grounds in Ruiislip on Sunday afternoon for their intermediate county championship tie against Cu Chullains.
