London will not make a decision on whether to go ahead with a proposal to play all of its county teams’ 2015 National League fixtures in Ireland during the redevelopment of Ruislip, until the board’s planning application has been decided upon by Hillingdon Council.

Final plans for the £4.17m redevelopment of the Emerald Grounds, Ruislip, were submitted on June 4, with permission expected to be granted by August. Construction work would commence on the project the following month, with a view to completing by May 2015 in time for London’s Connacht SFC quarter-final with Roscommon.

If planning permission is granted, the London County board are expected to accept a Croke Park proposal to play all of its 2015 National League games in Ireland. However, in 2016 the London would get all its league games at its new Ruislip home.
