THE Village Inn pub in Hanwell, London will be the venue for a coming together of London-Irish musical talent for a good cause on Thursday, February 6.

The Ginger Melodeon Experience is the umbrella name for a group of musicians that come together for charitable events and includes members of The Monday Club, BibleCodeSundays, Darren Nash, The Craic Heads, Hungry Grass, John Walsh, Barry Mee and The Reels.

The concert on February 6 will see the launch of the group’s new single, a cover of Something Inside So Strong, recorded for the Lymphoma Association Charity.

The band’s latest collaboration was inspired by the help The Lymphoma Association gave their friend Tracie O’Sullivan whose lymphoma cancer, after six months of gruelling treatment, is now in remission.

She said: “Every 40 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with Lymphoma and it is particularly common in the younger population.  Thank you to the best group of lads and lassies ever for donating to this great cause, musical geniuses, The Ginger Melodeon Experience!”
