Leonarda DiCaprio has given the film Philomena a new wave of publicity after prouncing it wrong as he read out nominations for lead actress in a drama at the Golden Globes.

The Wolf of Wall Street actor pronounced the film’s title as Philomania, something which has sparked a global trend on Twitter with the hashtag #philomania

Philomena is about the true story of Irish woman Philomena Lee’s search for the son she was made to give up for adoption by nuns.

The real-life Philomena Lee, now eighty years old, attended the ceremony last weekend, as did one of its stars Steve Coogan.
