Former Kerry back Tomás Ó Sé and current forward with The Kingdom Paul Galvin will both be at Hennessys in Kingsbury this weekend. The pair will be special guests on the night that Hennessys’ upstairs music venue is opened with music being provided by The Quick Fix.
Tomás wore the green and gold from 1998 to this championship season and has just announced his retirement from inter-county football in recent weeks. He has won five All-Irelands, five All Stars and nine Munster titles. He captained the team in 2008 when they lost in the final to Mickey Harte’s Tyrone. A nephew of legendary Kerry back and later manager, Páidí Ó Sé, Tomás’ brothers Daragh and Marc have also represented Kerry with Marc continuing to do so. Tomás plays his club football with An Ghaeltacht.
Half forward Paul Galvin has been playing with Kerry since 2003. He has won four All-Irelands, three All Stars and seven Munster titles. He was named captain of the Kerry team in 2008 but suspension was ruin this season for him with Galvin making a substitute appearance in the final against Tyrone. Galvin plays his club football with Finuge. Ó Sé and Galvin will appear at Hennessys, Kingsbury on Saturday October 26.
