Steve Coogan, Stephen Fry and Elbow’s Guy Garvey and Dave Gilmour are among those who talk of their love for Kate Bush in a new documentary to be broadcast this weekend.

Running Up That Hill: The Kate Bush Story airs this Friday, Aug 22, on BBC Four, and explores the singer’s career and music from her 1978 debut single Wuthering Heights to her 2011 album 50 Words for Snow.

Coogan’s comic creation Alan Partridge played Bush’s music on his radio show, and in 2007 the madcap DJ also did a medley of her songs for Comic Relief.

Bush, whose mother was a nurse from Waterford, is back playing her first series of live shows in Britain since 1979, playing 15 shows at London’s Eventim Apollo starting August 26.
