Forty lucky Dubliners were treated to an intimate Ed Sheeran gig in Henry Street’s HMV today.
The singer songwriter, who was in Galway for a wedding this week, signed copies of his album afterwards to the fans who had won golden tickets to attend the small show.
Doyles’ patrons were shocked when Ed Sheeran took the stage as part of the Ruby Sessions, which he had been a part of in 2011, in front of about 150
This morning he tweeted: “”Played a secret gig for the Ruby sessions last night in Dublin. Always the best gigs of the year for me”
The Ruby sessions is an acoustic gig held in aid of charities the Simon Community and Oxfam every Tuesday in Doyles on D’Olier St.
