Party leader Gerry Adams posed next to the Oscar Wilde statue in Merrion Square as Sinn Fein push for a date on a constitutional referendum on same-sex marriage.
The LGBT rights policy sets out ten proposals including equal treatment for prospective LGBT parents in reproductive and adoptive services and updates to incitement to hatred laws.
Sinn Fein’s Justice and Equality spokesperson Pádraig MacLochlainn stressed the need for equality.
“It’s important that there’s no complacency,” he said.
“We need to work together to argue the case to ensure that we have full equality for people who love each other.
“We’re talking here about Irish citizens – human beings – who love each other and want to make a full commitment in front of their friends and families. One of the centrepieces of Irish culture is the Irish wedding, and we want that for everybody.”
